- East on County Road 595 from Gold Beach (becomes Forest Road 33), then Forest Roads 3310 and 3340; turn left onto Forest Road 141 and the lookout is 0.75 mile up the spur.

- Bring your own water, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, towels, dish soap, matches, cooking gear, first aid kit, toilet paper and garbage bags; no water on site; no smoking in the tower; combination lock entry; check with the Gold Beach Ranger District four days ahead.
