Where: Death Canyon Road, Delta, UT 84728. Directions
When: Pre-season March 20 & 21 and March 27th & 28, ahead of the full season.
Season: 2026 Season begins March 30 and runs until October 24th, open Mon. - Sat., closed on the 4th of July and Sundays.
Getting there: From Delta, travel 32 miles west on highway 6/50; turn north at the U-Dig Fossil Sign between mile markers 56-57; then follow a well-maintained gravel road for 20 miles to the quarry (U-Dig signs posted along the route).
Fees: Two-hour access $33 adults, $19 children aged 7-16; kids under 7 dig free.
Hours: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Access: Last twenty miles is a gravel road maintained with graders by the county; well-graveled and will not get muddy.
Walk-in or reserve: Not needed; book online or pay at the door.
