- From Nephi, travel 33 miles southwest on State Highway 132 to Lynndyl. Turn south on U.S. Highway 6 for about 5 miles. Turn west on the Brush Wellman road and travel 38 miles to the Topaz Mountain sign. Turn north on the dirt road about 2 miles, then west toward Topaz Mountain.

- Four-wheel drive recommended but not required for the last few miles. Do not collect on marked claims. Bring rock hammer, chisels, eye protection, hat and water; watch for rattlesnakes; carry out trash.

Some of the most productive and diverse rockhound areas in the west; visitors can collect a variety of topaz and crystals, with trilobite beds at Antelope Springs and geode beds near Dugway nearby.
