Rows of ten-by-ten tents fill an open lot at 4700 Boulder Highway in Las Vegas on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. The operator supplies a tent with each space and counts hundreds of vendors on the lot. They sell new merchandise and gently used goods: clothing, new and used furniture, home decor, tools, electronics, toys and games, jewelry, handmade work and collectibles. Food and snack vendors work alongside the merchandise rows. Small business owners, artisans and resellers take spaces, and so do households clearing out what they no longer use.
The roster turns over from one weekend to the next, and the operator announces new arrivals on its Facebook page. The post for September 20, 2026, read: “God’s beautiful morning, we hoping all is well... we have 4 new vendors today... come shop and save at a real friendly community store.” The same page calls the place “a true community store.”
Bicycles, candles and a seamstress
The 2026 posts name the stalls. Bob at space 33 sells electric bicycles. Ahead of Labor Day weekend the operator told shoppers to buy one, place it in the back of the vehicle “and then proceed to the nearest beach.”
Dd Fashions hems pants, resizes dresses and makes outfits from scratch. It works the meet on Saturdays and Sundays under the motto “Custom Is Life.” The Natural Raindrop Store carries custom ties, clothing, fragrances, candles and candle accessories. La Boutique LLC sells purses, sunglasses, belts, streetwear and formal wear. Creative Spaces by Genuinely Jackie brought more purses on an August Friday and Sunday.
Sundae Novelties came on June 12 with cartoon and anime stickers, anime jewelry and keychains, Squishmallows, viral kids’ toys and BTS apparel. One booth sells fan-made sports apparel with bold team designs. On a Saturday in August, C.A.T. – Club Alternative Therapies laid out handmade crystal jewelry and healing stones. Two Las Vegas clothing lines, Fashiongasm and Misunderstood, set up on August weekends, and Divi Skin Care came on August 1.
Some booths take bookings for parties. GlitzMe Rentals worked the lot on June 12 and June 26, offering bounce houses, waterslides, toddler soft play, arcade games, tables, chairs, linens and tents, throne chairs, balloon garlands and mobile coffee and tea bars. Snap6 Photo Booth, a Las Vegas company, followed on June 20 and June 27. On the weekend of August 14 to 16, the first 50 shoppers got a free donut with coffee or juice.
Heat, hours and a Wednesday pantry
The whole meet is outdoors, and the desert sets the clock. Summer hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday through Sunday, began June 12, 2026. On August 1 the operator posted that “due to the exceptionally high outdoor temperatures” it would close at 2 p.m. that Saturday and Sunday and adjust its hours for the rest of the summer. By mid-September the posted weekend hours ran from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The posts follow the weather. On August 15 the page said, “Temperatures have temporarily decreased.” On September 5 it said, “As the sun continues to do what it was designed to do... come hang out as it gets cooler and summer winds down.” On September 27 it invited people to “enjoy the beautiful weather in Las Vegas by taking a walk, doing some shopping, and having a pleasant conversation.”
The schedule has changed before. In April 2023, Gary Dymski of 8 News Now listed the meet among the valley’s swap meets with these hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday still brings people to the lot once a month. On the second Wednesday, a free food pantry hands out fresh food in mid-morning, and those who come are told to bring their own bags or carts.
The meet also holds a Children’s Spring Festival, with one-day vendors, food vendors and crafters selling to a family crowd. Its two-day Fall Festival is announced ahead of time, with each participating vendor posted in advance. On festival days the lot holds a water slide, a water balloon fight, face painting, train rides, a scavenger hunt, games, prizes and free food.
Household goods and a bigger store
Kevin Fleming grew up in west Las Vegas and graduated from Bonanza High School. For years he and his youngest brother sold household products at the Boulder Highway Swap Meet. He was 50, a father of three with two grandchildren, when he was killed on October 5, 2022, at the Lake Tonopah Senior Apartments in northern Las Vegas. As of the end of that year, no arrest had been made.
His older sister, Dorothy Williams, spoke about him to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Kevin was a gentle giant with a good heart,” she said. “He loved his family. He loved his life.” She said the brothers had hoped to open a larger store, or maybe their own chain.
