- Open year-round; the gate closes for winter from mid-November to late April, adding three miles to the trailhead.

- Head south on I-15 from Salt Lake City, take Exit 257 A onto US-6 East, then turn left onto Diamond Fork Rd (Forest Road 029) and follow it about 11 miles to the signed Three Forks Trailhead.
- Fees
- $10 per vehicle per three day; $20 per vehicle per seven day; $60 per vehicle per season.
- Access
- DWQ Health Watch for harmful bacteria; multiple people developed severe rashes and blisters this summer - dry off thoroughly, don't hike out in wet clothes, shower after soaking, no dunking head, no drinking, keep pets from drinking, avoid algae in pools. Very small parking lot, park only in designated pull outs, ticketing and towing enforced; vault toilet; no potable water; fee paid at self-service kiosk or digital pass.
