Getting there
From Fort Collins, go west on Highway 14 through Poudre Canyon for about 60 miles to County Road 103; go north on County Road 103/Laramie River Road for 16 miles to County Road 99, turn left and continue two miles to the gate.

$125 per night.
Access
Cabins remain locked; a combination is provided upon booking or from the Forest Service office; the nearest services are an hour or more away in Walden or Laramie; pets and livestock are not allowed; limited to five guests with no additional camping on-site; bark beetle area; black bear country with a bear-proof dumpster; flush toilets and potable water are available at the site.

A well-equipped cabin on the north end of the Laramie River Valley in north-central Colorado with modern amenities and access to a variety of recreational opportunities; opening later this season due to historical and maintenance improvements.

  1. 1934CCC Camp F-50-C Redfeather established a small side camp at the site called the Stub Creek Side Camp. historicorps.org
  2. 1935Historic records suggest the original Stub Creek Ranger Station was torn down and replacement construction began in 1935. historicorps.org
