Getting there
From Republic, travel east on State Highway 20 to the Kettle Crest Trailhead on top of Sherman Pass; Kettle Crest Trail No. 13 south to the cabin, about five miles one way.

Not accessible by vehicle; guests must hike, bike, horseback ride, ski, or snowshoe three to five miles depending on route and season.
