The 4th of July Block Party fills the Carnival Lot of the Cloverdale Citrus Fair, at 1 Citrus Fair Drive, with games, contests, food, drink, and a dance floor. Admission is free and the party is open to all ages, with activities for children and for adults. In 2026 it ran on Saturday, July 4, from 2:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Two bands split the 2026 afternoon. Court’n’Disaster played from 2:30 to 4:30. Max Vogel & the Pickups followed from 5:00 to 7:00. The second band’s own announcement tagged the set as live country music and asked the crowd to “come sing along, dance with us, and help us celebrate the red, white, and blue.”

A raffle ran through the day. The 2026 prizes were a box of Salty Crew gifts, a Body Works Studio gift card with other goodies, a DogOnIt gift bag, and a gift basket for the scavenger hunt. The Fair posted the winners’ names three days later and promised to call each one to arrange pickup.

When the music stops, the evening goes on. The Fair sets aside a designated public space on the grounds where visitors may bring Safe & Sane fireworks and set them off after dark.

The Citrus Fair Board runs the party and called a volunteer meeting at the fairgrounds on June 29, 2026, to staff it. The Fair’s own line is “Freshly squeezed fun since 1892,” and its namesake event still comes each February. The 2026 Citrus Fair ran February 13 through 16. The block party is a recent addition to the Fair’s calendar. Its page billed the 2026 party as the fourth annual and announced a new time frame for it. Afterward the Fair posted: “We had a BLAST and hope you did too! See you next year!!”
