Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, Wyoming, was established in 1897 as the Big Horn Hot Springs State Reserve, making it Wyoming's first state park. The park is centered around the world's largest mineral hot springs, which flow at a rate of approximately 8,000 gallons per minute at a constant temperature of 135 degrees.
