- From San Francisco or Oakland: Drive East on Highway 24, and continue onto 680 North. Exit Treat Blvd. and turn right. Go approximately one mile, then turn right on Bancroft Road. Make a U-turn at Stratton Road. The Ruth Bancroft Garden will be on your right.

The Ruth Bancroft Garden houses a unique and diverse collection of cacti, succulents and drought tolerant plants from around the world. The many large mature specimens located throughout the 3.5 acre garden serve as an excellent example of just how stunning a dry garden can be.
