Getting there
Take Hwy 243 south of Vantage, then Hwy 24 east to Mattawa. Several miles east of Mattawa, turn left on R road to climb the foothills of the Saddle Mountains to BLM-managed land.

Access
It is unlawful to trespass on private lands; landowners do not have to post or fence their land, so check with them before entering. Off-highway vehicle use outside the open-area boundary is restricted to roads and trails.
