When: May, June: 10am-4pm Mon-Sat, 12pm-4pm Sunday; July, Aug, Sept: 10am-4pm, Closed Sunday & Monday.
Getting there: Travel 2 and 1/2 miles east from Alder on Montana Highway 287. Rock Shop and gem hunting on north side of road.
Fees: Cash Only: $25 per bucket (~1hr), $35 per larger bucket (~2hr), $20 per sack to go.
Access: Screen a bucket or screen all day; an area for leashed dogs while owners screen.
