  1. 1900sThe cabin was dismantled, floated down Kelly Creek, and reassembled at its current location. recreation.gov
  2. 1935Much work done by crew: cleared right of way for Kelly Ck Road, built K.C. campground, built metallic circuit telephone line from camp 1/2 way to 4th July ck; cut wood for all camps on forest including 2 CCC camps, Pierce R.S. + 3 other era camps; cleared the flat where Kelly Ck R.S. is now located. archiveswest.orbiscascade.org
  3. 1935An Era camp wintered at Kelly Forks under foreman Hartig with Jess Woods and Art Roberts as assistant foreman; it was intended to have 120 men but eventually had about 60. archiveswest.orbiscascade.org
  4. 1936In the Kelly Forks fire on the Clearwater National Forest, an airplane observer maintained direct communications via radio with a fire boss on the ground, the first time for the region. npshistory.com
