Getting there
From Lakeview: follow Highway 395 to the junction with Highway 140 east; follow Highway 140 east for 15.6 miles; following the sign for PLUSH and HART MTN. REFUGE, turn north onto the Plush Cuttoff (County Highway 3-13).
Fees
The Refuge is free to visit.
Access
From July 1 to late fall the headquarters waterline is shut off for visitor use; potable water at Camp Hart Mountain Campground's pavilion; no water at the Refuge Headquarters/Visitor Center; be prepared to stop for construction as needed.
