- Wednesday through Saturday 7 days a week in downtown Philipsburg.

- May 20 to September 5, 2026 (mine); year-round (downtown Philipsburg store).
- Getting there
- From Anaconda, travel approximately 18 miles to Skalkaho Pass Road, MT Hwy 38 (six miles south of, and before Philipsburg). After you pass Georgetown Lake and come down the grade, take it easy across the flat. Slow down as soon as you see the green Skalkaho Pass Road and Hamilton highway signs.
- Fees
- $55 per 2-gallon Natural Sapphire Gravel Bucket (approximately 25 pounds); additional packaged products available subject to availability.
- Access
- The road is paved and suitable for all vehicles the entire way to our driveway. We have plenty of RV parking.
- Walk-in or reserve
- First come, first served for the mine; large groups and guaranteed space use the VIP Section.

Open-pit sapphire fee dig where visitors buy a 2-gallon bucket of natural sapphire gravel, screen it with provided equipment, and keep what they find; the operator's team grades the finds into Small, Fractured, and Cuttable.
