When
Day-use visitors welcome during normal business hours; overnight guests can use the pool at any hour.
Getting there
The pools are near the East base of the Steens Mountains, one mile below the summit at the edge of the Alvord Desert.
Access
East Steens Road (Fields-Denio Road) is a mostly unpaved, county maintained gravel road. Please call for current road conditions at 541-589-2282.

Reservations are highly recommended. Seasonally, a 2 or 3-day minimum may apply.

Alvord Hot Springs is privately owned by the Davis family. We host twin concrete pools dating back to the 1940s, but modernized over the years. The hot springs have on-site caretakers, a small store/reception center, restrooms, bunkhouses and campsites.
