Getting there
Continue on Highway 230 through Woods Landing, briefly back into Colorado on Highway 127, then north on Colorado 125 across ranch property and back into Wyoming; at mile marker 112 turn right onto the A Bar A driveway and overhead gate; the driveway is 8 miles long.
Fees
Nightly per person: adults $795; youth 6-11 $650; children 3-5 $490; children under 3 no charge; nanny $325; Classic Expeditions adults $860; Classic Expeditions youth 6-11 $695; Self-Supported Expeditions (summer and fall) $480.
Access
Enter A-A Road, Encampment, WY 82325 for GPS; check the GPS route against the ranch's directions because seasonal road closures can affect travel; avoid Google Maps, which takes an impassable back road; Apple Maps is best.
Walk-in or reserve
50% deposit required within two weeks of confirming your reservation; cancellations before March 1 receive a full refund, after March 1 refunds for any portion the ranch can re-book.
